ABOUT

I am Ki-Jung Dejbjerg, born in 1986, a psychotherapist specializing in Cybernetic Psychology and integral psychotherapy. My studies at The Vedfelt Institute in Copenhagen, along with more than a decade of education and training in psychodynamics, meditation, yoga, breathwork, and other integral frameworks, have prepared me to support you through transformation and growth. My approach integrates the systems perspective of Cybernetics, the depth of Psychodynamics, and the methods of creative and contemplative traditions.

I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental, and reflective space where you can feel truly heard and supported. This environment allows for deep introspection, fostering insights that can catalyze meaningful change in your life. CYBERNETIC PSYCHOLOGY

Cybernetic Psychology essentially applies the principles of systems theories to the field of psychology, leading to a uniquely resourceful and insightful perspective. This implies that the human psyche is understood as a self-organizing, holarchic, interdependent system. Consider this analogy:

Think of how a forest ecosystem maintains, heals and grows itself through a complex network of relationships and inherent processes. When a storm creates openings in the forest canopy, sunlight reaches new areas of the forest soil, and seedlings that were dormant spring to life. But this renewal only happens when the conditions are right.

Our psyche works in a similar way. Therefore, rather than trying to “fix” specific issues, this approach to psychotherapy focuses on creating conditions that allow your natural capacity for resilience, homeostasis and reorganization to emerge. From this new organization or perspective, your challenges, relationship issues or priorities will appear very different.

The theory behind Cybernetic Psychology uses a lot of technical terms and it is not necessary to understand it to benefit from the approach—what matters most is your direct experience in therapy and the positive changes in your life—but if you are curious to do a deeper dive, you can read more in the blog.

I offer various plans to accommodate your unique requirements. After the payment process, you will be automatically taken to the booking calendar, where you can select a date and time for your session. If you’ve selected a package or membership, you still only need to schedule your next upcoming session at this time.

Pricing and Payment Policies

Session Packages and Validity:
• Single Sessions are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.
• The 5-Session Package is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
• The 10-Session Package is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
• Unused sessions in packages cannot be refunded or extended beyond their validity period.

Membership Terms:
• The Membership includes up to 3 sessions per month.
• Unused sessions do not roll over to the next month.
• Membership fees are charged monthly at the start of each cycle.
• Memberships can be cancelled at any time with written notice.
• Upon cancellation, the membership will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
• Full refund if cancelled 24 hours or more before the scheduled session.
• No refund for cancellations less than 24 hours before the session.
• Missed sessions without notice are charged in full.

All sessions are 70 minutes long and conducted via secure, GDPR-compliant video calls.

Is online therapy as effective as in-person therapy?

Yes, several academic meta-analyses show that online therapy is just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. Furthermore, it provides convenient and flexible support for clients who may find it difficult to attend in-person therapy. Do I need prior experience with psychotherapy to benefit from your services?

No prior experience, theoretical understanding, or particular worldview is necessary to benefit from this approach to psychotherapy. The process is designed to meet you where you are and work with your unique experiences and perspectives.
